Nénés: a truly eco-responsible brand… without compromising on style
OUR WAY OF PRODUCING
Nénés is a lifestyle brand whose goal is to reinvent fashion by positioning itself at the opposite end of fast fashion, which is becoming ever more prevalent.
Each of our creations is designed in France, and we have them made exclusively in Europe by companies that respect the environment.
We prioritize recycled European fibers produced in Portugal, Spain, or Italy. These fabrics combine softness, stretch, and durability. They are gentle on the skin and made to last over time.
We have also chosen to produce our pieces in small quantities and offer them at fair prices.
We are therefore committed to producing less, but better.

What makes Nénés Paris an eco-responsible brand ?
We adopt a slow fashion approach by offering only 5 collections per year. This production rhythm reduces overconsumption and limits textile waste.
Each garment is made in Europe, mainly in Portugal, but also in France, Spain, and Italy, using European raw materials, which helps reduce the carbon footprint linked to transportation.
Eco-responsibility applies to all our collections, whether it’s a women’s knit sweater, a 100% cotton pajama set, or cotton lingerie.
We collaborate with reliable partner workshops that are visited regularly, ensuring ethical manufacturing conditions.
What types of clothing do you sell ?
At Nénés, we offer a wide range of sustainable women’s clothing :
- Lingerie : bras, panties, and cotton panty sets
- Swimwear : bikinis and one-piece swimsuits
- Ready-to-wear and loungewear : pajamas, homewear, and everyday wardrobe essentials
We were originally known for our lingerie, and over time we have developed a complete wardrobe designed for all women.
What materials are used ?
At every stage of the manufacturing process, we prioritize eco-responsible materials in order to reduce our environmental impact. We mainly use :
- Organic cotton
- Linen
- Recycled fibers (polyester and polyamide)
- Upcycled fabrics, for example sourced from deadstock materials
These choices help limit water consumption, preserve natural resources, and extend the lifespan of the garments we create.
Is your packaging also eco-responsible ?
Absolutely !
Nénés’ environmental commitment goes beyond clothing. Our packaging is also eco-responsible.
Orders are shipped in cardboard envelopes made from agricultural waste, reducing their ecological impact. A reusable envelope is also available through the Opopop system, made in France from upcycled textiles.
The tissue paper we use comes from sustainably managed forests and is printed with soy-based ink. In this way, the delivery of our pieces fully reflects the brand’s environmental values.
What does Nénés Paris offer to extend the lifespan of its garments ?
At Nénés, we offer a free repair service for two years after purchase.
Even after this period, repairs are still available (for a fee) to give garments a second life.
We also provide care advice (delicate washing, use of a laundry bag, etc.) to help preserve the quality of each piece and enhance its durability. These tips are shared on our blog and included with each of our garments.
