We don't always tell you everything! Sometimes we come up against major production problems that give us a hard time.
Let's explain to you what is all of this about.
Let's go back a year! Margot designed and imagined the Palm trousers: wide-leg trousers with gathered details at the bottom of the leg. All in a linen and lyocell fabric, and in a lovely soft aqua green colour. A real favourite with the team and our customers!
After weeks of waiting for the pants to be produced, the verdict was in: all 150 trousers produced were faulty. The cut wasn't right, and the fabric was damaged in places after being dyed several times.
We could not be more desapointed. What are we going to do with all these trousers ?
Throw them away? No way.
Give them away or sell them at knock-down prices as 'Rescapés'? No, because they're still defective, not very wearable and not durable... That's just putting off the problem!
But fortunately, Léna, our new fairy product manager at Nénés, joined our team in September and found an upcycling factory to give these trousers a new lease of life.
And that's how we met Atelier Regain!
An upcycling textile studio based in Marseille, which creates clothes and accessories from second-hand textiles collected to give them a second life.

Mais heureusement, Léna, notre nouvelle fée chef de produit chez Nénés, a rejoint notre équipe en septembre et a déniché une marque et un atelier spécialisé dans l'upcycling. Parfait pour donner une nouvelle vie à ces pantalons !
Et c'est comme ça que nous avons rencontré l'Atelier Regain !
