Bikini Bottoms
Eco-friendly swimwear bottoms
Our goal at Nénés is to rethink fashion by moving away from fast-fashion standards. Since our creation in 2018, we design all our collections in France and have them manufactured exclusively in Europe, in audited workshops, in small quantities, and offer them at fair prices.
From swimwear to lingerie and ready-to-wear, we are committed to producing quality pieces, in smaller quantities, while taking care of the planet.
Swimsuit bottoms designed for everyone…
Our collections are timeless, combining femininity and comfort. Every body type and
every figure is enhanced.
Swimsuit bottoms are a perfect example: they are the piece that defines your
figure, asserts your style, and determines your comfort throughout the day. At Nénés, we give them as much care and attention as any other piece in our collection.
Our swimsuit bottoms come in a wide variety of cuts:
- The classic brief, which offers balanced coverage and reassuring support;
- The tanga, more revealing, which visually lengthens the leg and adds a touch of confident sensuality;
- The high-waist, which delicately sculpts the tummy and gracefully accentuates the curve of the back;
Each cut has been designed to embrace the body without constricting it, with that freedom of movement that makes all the difference once in the water.
… that will last you many years
Sustainability is at the heart of our concerns.
As for materials, our swim bottoms are made from recycled European fibers, manufactured in Portugal or Spain.
Soft, elastic, and resistant to salt and chlorine, they guarantee a flawless fit wash after wash, without ever compromising comfort.
And if your swim bottom is damaged, we offer free repairs within 2 years of purchase!
Finally, the colors and prints, inspired by the Mediterranean and the spontaneity of summer, range from soft pastels to more assertive shades: terracotta, khaki, or even raspberry red.
Thus, each swim bottom finds its place in your summer wardrobe, alone or as part of a coordinated set. No more need to buy dozens of swimsuits!
Frequently asked questions about our swimsuit bottoms.
How to mix and match bikini tops and bottoms while staying stylish?
It is perfectly possible to mismatch your bikini bottom and top without sacrificing your style at the beach.
Here are our tips:
- Stay harmonious by focusing primarily on colors, without going overboard. The rule is simple: pair a solid-colored bottom with a printed top, or vice versa;
- Make sure to choose two complementary shades to avoid too strong a contrast. For example, you can opt for a brown and white striped top and a solid brown bottom;
- Another important point: the fabric texture. The easiest way is to choose two pieces of the same material.
Are your swimsuits part of your eco-responsible approach?
It is in the name of the environment that we have taken the initiative to control the production of our eco-friendly clothing, including our women's swimwear. Beyond comfort, we prioritize respect for the environment.
We manufacture our products in workshops in France and Portugal.
Made in Europe is preferred for several reasons: local production to reduce the carbon footprint, limited or recyclable packaging, use of natural materials such as organic cotton or recycled materials, and low water consumption.
Ultimately, each of our pieces has a lower ecological impact, while maintaining excellent quality.
Which swimsuit bottom style to choose based on your body shape?
If comfort is the most important factor, your swimsuit bottom can also be adapted to your figure. Here are our tips to help you make your choice:
- Do you have wide hips? Opt for high-waisted or high-cut briefs to lengthen your legs.
- Do you have narrow hips? Ruched or ruffled swimsuit bottoms add subtle volume.
- More of a V-shaped figure? Choose a swimsuit bottom that is slightly covered on the sides to balance the shoulder size.
- Do you have an A-shaped figure? Choose low-rise briefs to highlight the slenderness of your hips.
Can I choose the same size as my underwear?
Not always! Swimsuit bottoms are made from stretchy materials, but they differ from the fabrics of classic underwear.
Swimsuits are often thinner and more elastic, which can alter the way they look on your figure.
To be sure of your choice, always try on the bottom or consult our size guide, available on every product page.
How to extend the lifespan of your bikini bottoms?
Just like the one-piece swimsuit, the swimsuit bottom is elastic. To maintain its
elasticity, and incidentally, its color, here are our tips:
- Rinse it with cold water after each swim;
- Wash it by hand rather than machine (do not use fabric softener, as it damages the fibers. Use household vinegar instead!);
- Dry it in the shade, never in direct sunlight;
- Do not iron your swimsuit, whether it's the bottom or the top.
